A focused student…?

It is obviously a pressure coming on from school and getting closer to the exams, at least today I have been doing anything else than study. Here is an example of that: Today I have washed all laundry that I could possibly find in the house. Then I went to shop for dinner, and yes, I managed to take a long time to stroll amongst the shelves in the shop, looking at baked bean tins and milk cartons. I also found rhubarb in the shop and of course it was ideal to buy half kilo of it because I decided there in the shop that today I would make rhubarb jam! When I came home, I washed the rhubarb, but it in pot with sugar and made jam. But something had to be in the house to eat with the jam so I decided to bake few waffles! And then it was totally necessary to watch an old TV programme with Frasier, much more important then studying. And look, I am still trying to avoid studying by writing this! Dear friends and family, if you will be around Edenderry, I have at least fresh jam and lots of clean towels and sheets!
Long live the student life!!!

I have arrived again...!

Hello everybody! I have arrived again. I am on full speed in my studies , two essays that I have to finish before Easter holiday, then the exams in May and the Master thesis in the summer, o my god. But anyhow, the classes have finished so I don't have to go to school again. I am getting excited for Eurovision and of course I watch closely what is happening on www.eurovision.tv. The video and the song with Silvia Night the Icelandic Reykjavik chic is brilliant and my favourite of course. I also think the Danish song is quite cool and the guy who sings for Russia is cute! Notice the girl who sings for Belgium, she looks like a self-tanning lotion factory had attacked her or exploded all over her, jesus, she is like an orange!
My sister Saedis is getting confirmed 9th April, on my birthday!!! Yes, I am of course going to Iceland, I will go the 5th and come back to Ireland 21st April. I cannot wait to come back to my wonderful Iceland. The live goes on here in Edenderry, it is though too small town for my taste, I want to live in a city or totally in the countryside, there is nothing in between for me. But the house we live in is warm and cosy and my and Seamus (the houseghost) are becoming good friends!

Feminity and images

I find the new video with Pink brilliant, I think it is called Stupid Girl. There she points at the images that are governing modern society. Everything, especially amongst young people today, seems to involve sex, being "hot" and "sexy", life high, party and be "with hot body" like the people in the videos. That appears for example in that young girls starve themselves and go too far in the hope of getting boys' attention. I just say: I have had it with this! I have totally given up on diets and when I look in the mirror I am just pretty happy with what I see, even though I might be couple of kilos too heavy. To me it is for everything to be healty, and that to be a "hot body" does not necessarily mean to be healthy. I love food and I enjoy cooking and going to restaurants, I just take good care that I exercise in connection with that so I can allow myself to eat good food every day.
I totally agree with Nigella Lawson who says she rather wants to enjoy the freedom of eating rather than trying to fit into smaller clothes sizes. And she is a gorgeous woman, curvatious and feminine. And did you know that Marilyn Monroe, the goddess herself, was 168 cm tall and 72 kilos?
